Connecticut Watershed Conservation Network

The Connecticut Watershed Conservation Network (CWC Network) is an environmental forum sponsored by Rivers Alliance of Connecticut. The CWC Network brings together members of river and watershed groups, land trusts, conservation commissions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to identify ways we can improve our communication, share our organizational resources, and better coordinate our watershed protection efforts statewide.

Services offered include email news, two annual conferences, special workshops, and your conservation questions answered!

Click here for the notes from the April 24, 2009 CT Watershed Conservation Network Conference at Northeast Utilities headquarters in Berlin. The focus of the conference was urban rivers. Other topics covered included liability issues surrounding river events, the economic downturn, and current policy issues.
